Imagined Landscapes

Drawings below were the early pieces that sometimes became landscapes or stayed abstracted as they seemed finished in their own space and time. While there was different things going on in my life, some challenging to say the least, these were completed in a seemingly carefree time for me looking back. I can see the different states of mind that created various subjects and styles. The pressure of life that you bring upon yourself becomes a rumination of the past or an anxiety of the future but art is created in the present and it's that frame of mind that is translated to the page or screen.
